iLink is an industrial grade Dual Band GSM900 and GSM 1800MHz GSM/GPRS modem that supports SMS or Wireless Data Transfer via a built in TCPIP stacks.

Designed for mission-critical and demanding conditions, i-Link builts in a proprietary Restart Control Feature that restarts the Modem when it hangs or functions abnormally. This feature is particularly useful for systems installed or housed inData Centres as access to the location is restricted.

I-Link comes in 2 different models, I-Link 8200-U with USB connection and I-Link 8200-S with serial interface. Every I-Link package comes with the I-Link Modem, the USB or Serial connection cable, 3 meter Antenna Cable with magnetic base, a CD containing the User Manua, AT Command Guide and a Sample Program for testing.

**Restart Control is an innovative feature where an application can power-restart the GSM Modem via the Serial Interface control signal. This gives the application the capability to recover from any critical error should the modem engine be hung , thus eliminating the need for a manual powering off/on of the modem.
